So, after another spike in Kyra's little fever (104.7) I have spent the last three hours trying to get her seen only to be told that it isn't Strep or the flu and that we need to keep her fever down. Uh. Huh. So, guess who will be home from school tomorrow? Yep!
Hmm..well, obviously you need to keep the fever down..dont need the dr. to tell you that huh?! But, did they not have any suggestions as to what it could be?? I am shocked that it is not strep throat!! The only other idea could be fifths disease, which only presents a high fever for a few days, and then a week or so later, the red rash appears. Very mysterious indeed..I am just surprised they let a fever that high go in a kid her age. Hopefully it gets better, and lets face it...heres to hoping Larry does not get it!! Let me know if you need anything!
ReplyDeleteWell at least you know what its not... I dont think any of my kids at school had a rash. I think it was just a weird bug. Hope she feels better soon!
