Summer fun

So, we had a spectacular Fourth of July and here is the evidence of fun had by all.  Larry was in California shooting a fireworks show so he couldn't be with us.  It is ironic that we have to find a parking spot in a remote parking lot to watch fireworks when he is so involved with such things. :)

Kierstin kept calling the fireworks "stars".  This was the first show she cared about all the excitement.  Last year she just sat in the car.  She would have NONE of that!  Courtlyn was quite enchanted with them as well.  I loved that they were sitting together and that Kierstin kept telling her to "look at the stars".

Carson had no need for forks with cake like this!!!

                                          

This is the only picture I could get of RJ!!!  Amber had to make him turn his head as he was playing COY with me.                                                                                                               

So, I couldn't get the red scary eyes out of this picture but it was too cute not to share.  These are the shirts that the girls made with Amber, oh and the hats and the flip flops (not seen).  They were so funny up on top of the car chatting like only little girls can.

Kimball and Kaden crawled up on top of the car for a better view.  They were just too cool for words sitting up there like this.  I love this picture of them.

Of course we had lots of fun at home before the fireworks.  We swam and ate and sang happy birthday to Kyra.  

So, here's to a wonderful Independence Day and a long, hot summer full of such memories.  I may not be crafty, but I do love days like these.
